School + Home Partnership

Children thrive when the adults in their lives share a common language. Parent companions, videos, and take-home resources reinforce the Hero Mindset beyond the classroom, helping families strengthen the same skills and messages children learn at school.

Behind the Hero Mindset

Hi! We're Chanie and Musya, co-founders of Hart & Hero. As parents and founders of an award-winning children's brand, we saw firsthand how play shapes the way children see themselves. That inspired us to create the Hero Mindset—a play-based framework that supports children's emotional well-being, mental health, resilience, and sense of self.

"Play is how children make sense of the world and imagine who they can become. When we expand what’s available to them, we expand their possibilities.

This collection invites children to explore empathy, imagination, and care, the building blocks of emotional growth."

Dr. Tovah Klein

Child psychologist and director of the Barnard Center for Toddler Development

Hello Hero isn’t just a book — it’s a shift in how children see themselves and what it means to be strong. Whether in the classroom or at home, it opens up language around bravery, kindness, and emotional awareness in a way that feels empowering and deeply needed. It’s not about teaching kids to pretend to be heroes — it’s about helping them realize they already are.”
